@alisse - There are two Seans on the crew so we gotta distinguish them somehow. I suggested he should go by Sean the Bone Crusher, but that hasn't stuck.

@remococco - the story goes that some old TAYer cached his gear there and just hasn't gone back to get it. He was presumably a regular skier at the pass year round. I'm sure other folks know the story...

Thanks @KellyC for the "map" - we made it today! Turns out there's an actual trail pretty much the whole way.

Wow. This looks so great. There are so many great nuggets of late spring/summer turns to be had if someone is willing to earn them.
1) This is epic! Thanks for sharing! I love the long walks for "gimmicky" skiing.

Mark - thanks for the concern. But I was aware of potential dangers, and am/was experienced enough to know how to handle it. I've skied muir at least a dozen times, and am aware of how to navigate in...
re: whiteouts on Muir snowfield... I also learned that fall line actually takes you into the Nisqually Glacier... so don't do that!
