Great report and way to cruise that trip quickly, it's a big day! Such a cool route....
I love all these TRs! Keep 'em coming Sam!
Unbelievable run this year...
SO GREAT! I can't really imagine skiing from that summit but I'm glad somebody can. That's certainly one of the proudest descents in the range. Well done!
Thank you for posting this TR....so great! Love the psyche.
I'm continually impressed by the volume of high quality skiing you pull off, season after season. Sheesh!
Things look surprisingly fat on the upper mountain, thanks for the report! It almost seemed casual.....
Interesting history, thanks for the details on somewhere outside of the norm!
Is that fairly normal early/midwinter snowpack in the photos?
I really enjoy your updates and videos from the road Tim, even if I am too mired in work and family to ever dream of going on them myself! At least in the next 5-10 years....
Inspiring! What a string of cool descents ....thanks for putting this TR together!
Ah, yes, good times!
I can't see the iconic video!
"grateful for the 3 bars of LTE that let me taunt my friends from the summit"
You're quite welcome.... you bastard. Wish I could have been along to enjoy the blessings of the season!
Ah, of course!
But, did you catch any fish?
Maybe the first wearing clothes.
Thanks for the memories of that section of the White River "trail". Glad you made it and thanks for sharing the words and images!
Before you do something on steep snow again, please practice how to self arrest on a small, steep slope with a good runout. First without crampons, then with. It is also a good idea to pra...
well done! cool looking traverse.
Mmmmmmm....Hardee's.
Love the history in that register! And I love everything about this TR....so much good skiing you guys did in a weekend (returning to the road each day?). Impressive!
So rad! And a good reminder that there is solitude to be found still.
DAMN!!! So impressive, that descent and country, in all that heat. Way to thread the needle and avoid slurpee death.
The light in some of those shots is pretty impressive, please do...
Nice! Glad you got out with the Spiceman himself, I'm sure he kept the day flavorful.
DAMN! More photos please!

DAN IS BACK!! So good, as always. Thanks for sharing the adventure!
Sheesh. I've looked down that wall in April and it scared me.....such relief and snow plastered rock baking in the sun. Well done guys!At the exact instant you took these photos, Stev...

I've got photos of you guys on the traverse and NF, taken from Fernow. Shoot me a PM if you want them. We were hoping that we could watch you descend the NF, we had the best seats in...
