Great ski. I skied the main colouir on the S side back in early Feb. Agree that I had never heard of good skiing on the N side. Added to the list here as well.
I was skiing all over the Mt. Baker Ski Area yesterday (5/15) and got a great view of Mt. Baker and the Park Glacier.  Last Friday (5/11) I saw the great tracks down the Park; yesterday I saw a huge crown across the entire Park headwall and assume the entire thing had ripped over the weekend or on Monday.

Similar aspects further around towards the Boulder Glacier showed large crowns also.

"The heat is on..."
Solid work here.  No descent of Deception on the last day?  ::) ;D

I look forward to seeing Allen's photos next fall as well.
Great day skiing!  Definitely a repeat event!
Thanks for the TR. Was just thinking about Blue Lake today...
Love it!  This is my favorite time of year, watching the trips that folks have been stewing on come to pass.  Nice work y'all.
Aw shucks ryanl, you are too kind :-[ ; as it concerns style, I left out the parts about puncturing not one but two Rainier tallboys in my backpack, among other foibles.  (Little setbacks make for laughs and a more memorable trip anyway, so I tell myself.)

Yeah Kyle, it's an enticingly close objective and I was surprised that there were no reported descents (or ascents, for that matter) of that face.  Maybe Lowell or someone else here has heard tale?
Your approach via the N Fork Tieton trail looks familiar.  It looks like you had nice skiing once you got out the forest.  Thanks for sharing!
Looks like a great trip!  Also on my to-do list, thanks for the stoke.
Nice work, and congrats Elliott!

Nice thing about this traverse is that you have three good downhill sections so it isn't all just skinning :).

Matt, thanks for coming on the trip with us.

Nice! Thanks for the map, I always wandered where exactly the tour went.

that's quality wandering without a map!
Rad trip.  Good to see you're still killin it Matt.
Nice, but was Sasquatch when at the indicated point coming down from the summit via the Sunshine Route, or was he partway through a circumnavigation tour?
(Or was he just out eating unsuspecting telemark skiers?)
Nice! Thanks for the map, I always wandered where exactly the tour went.
I care Chris...

I hear ya on the weight though.

Awesome. I want to do this tour badly.
I didn't even know that mountain had a north face.
Nice work Amar and CO!  Thanks for the report.
Haha, I'll still be teleing in the winter and select days in between!  I decided to get this AT rig for spring\summer.  It's several pounds lighter than my tele setups and I like the Dynafit crampon system better than the Voile, B&D, or BD crampon options that would work with my O1 bindings.

And David, don't forget, no one cares that I tele!
Sweet!!!
That is my favorite trip to date.  You guys are super strong to have knocked it off in 3 days!

The pic standing in front of the recent avy debris and soft slabs is great, glad you avoided all those instabilities.

Upper Cameron and Grey Wolf basins are really something special (at least to a skier)

Another great one $. (And the applause is for you, too, Eric and Chad). Very few get after it more, in better style, in more disciplines, than you.
Congrats Elliot on your first summit ski. I imagine many more will follow....

Strong work Amar while being sick !!  Nice to meet you Elliott and Jessie !
Thanks Amar and Jessie for a fabulous trip! Glad I was able to share such a memorable time with you both. Amar, thanks for detailing such an enjoyable TR. Jessie, I am really stoked to ski with you from the summit soon!
Just found out the dog was Dwayne and Theresa's dog Lucy. They were up skiing Mesachie on Sat and tried Greybeard Sunday (too soft for their liking). Lucy the wolf dog apparently likes to get a bit ahead of them and attempt to eat other skiers. Thank goodness we fought her off successfully.
Chris,

What!! AT gear?  What happened?  We love to see those fine tele turns of yours!

what's the point of a Permit when they're issuing 500+ a day..?

Revenue I imagine... but starting today they limit the permits to 100 climbers per day until October.
Strong work pulling off the summit while feeling sick!

You have to love Sunshine and Alpine!
I have drooled at that photo for years strong work pulling it off!
Nice work guys I have dreamed of that trip for awhile.
Great work pulling it off!

Skinning out I savored the scene, realizing how lucky we all are to enjoy such wonderful places. Surf and turf, mmm, good.

Well said, those of us who live on the Peninsula feel blessed to have these treasures in our back yards .............

Gary
You guys made quick work of a whole bunch of incredible terrain.  ;)
It was good to see you tonight! Again, happy 28th.

I'm gonna be lazy about posting pics and just direct you to my facebook album. All apologies if you are at work surfing TAY and facebook is blocked.

Rub it in....................... but keep living your dreams!<...
Nice work Martin, I have now added this to my local list of targets..
Summit I gained was the south shoulder, not the North spire
what's the point of a Permit when they're issuing 500+ a day..?
Nice one Eric! Seriously, way to get in there and get after it! $$
Way cool! I have wanted to get into Royal Basin on skis for years! Do you have a topo of your route?

Well done!
AT gear.  And the new boots are completely destroying my right foot too.  Only saw one Tele dude the entire day - dubbed Mr. Anti Social (skiing on Anti Pistes).
Did you use the AT gear or stay true?

You need to go back and try the Hotlum /Wintun route  on the east side out of Brewer creek.

Been there...done that about 3-4 times already. A very good route and worth repeating but I'm hungry for even less popular routes. My interest is peaked for the North side - maybe Bolam Glacier.

Lowell - need to find a Smart Car that maintains 60mpg and ca...
Nothing like Olympic Corn.  Good timing.  Great route.
awesome trip!!!

so conditions were stable? please elaborate .. esp on east/southeast facing slopes around 6K .. and how deep was the post holing ... and at what elevation?

:)
Sometime it does not even have to be steep...

You mean like the light drizzle in the parking lot...?
