When I got home I transferred my GPS track to the computer and HORROR it read 9888 feet

So back to the Ridge I went, and by headlamp I made one final short lap up Sitkum and Down Chak Chak.  Not super satisfying.  At least it brightened Sara's evening.  I'm not sure she meant me to hear her chuckle.

Interesting how many of us "Mountain Men/Women are so geeked out when it comes to technology and obsessive record keeping. When...

Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed meeting you in person the other day and gleaning from your deep knowledge of the terrain in this area.  I hope to get out with you soon on lines such as these.  Truly spectacular place to hang out!

Hey Dan, great to meet you as well, that was a fun day! Look forward to more...
Super!!!

Way to make it happens Mike! and on your home turf as well.  Love skinning the closed resorts with the pooches.

super fun looking outing gang! especially nice looking day on stu...

But man,, get some real whiskey! ;)
What a great spell of weather and snow conditions! Thanks all for the memorable trip!

You showed us all your favorite runs.  I love my Vector BC.  ;)
good trip !  i have only been up there in similar conditions, need to go back up when its not puking !
nice one !  saw your tracks high on hardy from methow col - good way to exit while there is snow on that slope !
Way to embrace the uber-hamster wheel Mike!
Awesome Mike -- I'm ashamed to say that I would probably round up aggressively when processing the GPS data.
Congrats, Mike!

Love the first picture. Something about the way the snow lies around those lava rocks. So perfect and yet so ephemeral. You're lucky to have that in your back yard.
I was just finishing my second lap down two different sw face lines when you were about to cross over the creek (assuming that was you in the orange boots). I had great snow on both runs. A little scratchy at the top due to the wind on the 1st run, but overall very good.

I chased my friends up into Bean basin after seeing you and can say the snow was considerably more cooked on the se lines we skied back.
There is some interesting pathology that went into this type of trip Mike that I am trying to come to terms with! Well done sir! Way to keep the sickness alive!
Silas, TTN and Vector 170cm.
TN, HA! I hear you do days like this on a regular basis.
:)  Thanks for the kudos everyone!
Nice Mike! Good work.  Give me something to try for, maybe next year.  How 'bout a seasonal quarter mil capped with another day like yesterday!
Great work!  Now eat yer Wheaties and go metric!
Who are you calling a bum? It was a nice streak of days up there. If you see the white whale in the future swing in for a brew.

Zack
Mike.  This is awesome.  Very inspiring.  I love your enthusiasm!

Congrats on meeting your goal ! Thanks for the conditions report. Iusually try and make it over there after the lifts close. Not only for the skiing but also the change of venue.
I just put a ski rack on my motorbike sooo maybe.
yeah, probably been pretty snow free for a couple months.
Nice. So the road was snow free to the Tilly Jane trailhead?
I was up there Monday and Thursday(red jeep), was wondering who the ski bums were camped out in the van! Must have missed metting you up there somewhere, same guy that met you at summit west that one day.

Monday was one of the best days of spring skiing I have ever had!

:)  Love this!  Life was so much simpler before software to drive us crazy.

Nicely done, what skis and bindings?
Great vid, great trip, featuring a ...snowcave...excellent, I'm convinced that's the way to go for multi-day stuff.
I think we may have had the first Basset Hound April summit at West! :)

Puppies first time in the snow, she had a blast.

Think we buzzed past you on our descent.  Snowdome was prime @ 1130 so we ripped skins and headed down.  The mush at treeline was challenging.
This was a great trip and the photos were great.  It was nice to see the route and what you covered getting to the route down.  ;)
Thanks for all the kind words everyone. We certainly had a great time on this tour and highly recommend it as one to do right after the highway opens up.

Here's a video that I made of our trip:

Yeah boys!!

My legs hurt just reading this.

Loving the ball cap under the climbing helmet style.

Next i'll be bringing back long underwear under shorts with gaiters for the summer months  ;)
So that's where you two were.  Looks like a lot of fun!! Great pics too.
I have heard those new Dynafits are prone to that kind of a failure.  That is a bummer at least it did not totally mess up your trip.
I can't wait to get up there and make another attempt with you guys!
That was a fun day for sure! Well worth skipping class, haha.

I'll put up some of my photos on Monday probably.
great looking line. way to sort out the logistics to make it happen efficiently.
sweet-looking trip fellas!  i wondered about that wing lake drainage exit, and if the added fall line was worth the exit penalty...sounds pretty close ;).

Gotta call BS on this Scott  :)
Man, you guys earned that. Sweet to drop the sharkfin. Don't "most people" do this tour two or three days  :)
Only a couple small wet point releases, we were surprised how cold it stayed for most of the day once we gained the top of decker. Did see that large cornice failure near decker on the way in that looked a few days old. That definitely prompted us to get off the glaciers early on wed when it got really hot
Nice send Drew! Look forward to getting out with ya!
Yowza, you hit it just right, nice work boys!
Zap.

A few years ago my dad had a severe stroke. Every few months I go to the midwest to visit. I went home two weeks ago andwas telling  him about you, your stroke, and magnificent comeback. How inspiring! I was telling him how he could make a recovery, get in shape, and do the same thing. How rad would that be pops? Come ski with your boy?!?

His eyes lit up. An epiphany? No... "your f@#ing crazy.. skiing is for rich people.. take me to the track"

Haha.

I must be getting blind. Looking at that scurlock photo I dont see a line until a third of the way down.

Nice one tabke,  and congrats on your success this past winter! Was stoked waching the videos.
Man.. beauty tour kurt and forrest!

Quite the strong duo as well.  Lots of knowledge and experiance rolled into you two.

Ha.. thanks.

I didnt take many photos, and most are crap. I think you can click on a photo to see the rest. Didnt realise it did that.

I stand by my statement. Its loaded wih key words though ;).  Going on a road trip. I hope when I get back its rock climbing time.... guest room has your name on it jake.

Boot. The exit out wing lake drainage wasnt too bad. Took us twenty minutes longer then going out the other way. Think you could straighten it out a bit an...
Sweet trip.
Happy for you both.  :)
