Yeah!  Gravity is gettin it down! Nice post.

Hey Andy, if you keep on this pace, I'm not going to be able to get your cake ready in time..  anybody know where I can get 1000 candles on short notice?   ;)

But without splitboarding technology and hardware then backcountry monoskiing would not be possible today...

This statement is simply not true, at least among the hardcore cross-country snowboarders.

Thanks’ Andrew for taking the time to explain the mechanics of deep powder formation. After supplementing my copy of “The Secret Powder Stashes of White Pass” with the unabridged edition I’ll give it another try. :)
