Time to give up the address to your private stash.

I stopped in to the Texaco off I-90 at 468th the other day (one exit E of N Bend). I was surprised at finding an excellent BBQ pork sandwich at taco truck style place inside the mini mart.

Been to Good Food in Marblemount plenty of times, maybe not the very best food, but there is a lot of it.

Bailed early from Paradise on a Sunday earlier this year and the Mexican place in Eatonville had an all you can eat brunch for about 10 bucks. The Eatonville bakery is also very good but I am usually too early in the morning for it to be open.

I think the place you are talking about is called Rhodie's, I learned about it last Friday and man, it is a gem. Best thing to happen to Ken's Truckstop (same exit) since diesel. I think it is exit 34.

Can't forget Zeek's on hwy 2, place has the best shakes ever.

Ken's is also worthy of mention simply for portion size. If hearty caloric intake is a priority on a cold and wet day, it's hard to beat.

If your down at Paradise I love Whittakers Bunkhouse for coffee in the morning for the gate wait. For the drive home Copper Creek is awesome, at least it seems awesome after a good tour or summit climb. If your heading back from Crystal on 410 to 512, NEVER eat at Mazatlan in Bonney Lake. Just dont do it, you will thank yourself. But by all means stop at the bikini coffee joint near there on the right. I know some of you know it....

this is a post I've been contemplating in my head for a while now, have been trying to field-test, breaking it down by de-proach.  This is what I have so far that comes to mind:

Mt Baker Hwy:  Graham's, Milano's or Boundary Bay

Hwy 20, above Baker Lk Turnoff:  Good Food (has outperformed the other Marblemount options)

Hwy 20, below Baker Lk:  Burlington Cafe (limited hours), Trainwreck in Burlington

Mtn Loop:  bleak, but maybe the pizza place in Granite Falls?

Hwy 2, west side:  Zeeks

I-90, west side:  North Bend Bar & Grille, or Rogue Brewery in Issaquah

Salmon La Sac Rd:  The Brick in Roslyn
