Full Sail in Hood River is a must on any Adams trip. Even has a view of the peak.

Sultan Bakery

I like a bacon egg and cheese sandwich from ON THE WAY UP to the Mountain. Eat half for breakfast n stick the other half in the pack for lunch. Gottem dialed into my cell phone.

For Hood River:

Big Horse Brew Pub -- great beer, good food, plus a dog-friendly back-patio dining area for sunny days -- 1 block up the hill from the main street downtown, then up a lot of stairs

Andrew's Pizza -- good pizza and calzones, free WiFi -- on the main street downtown

Unfortunately, few things in our area can hold a candle to the Whoa Nellie Deli down at the intersection of 395 and Tioga Pass Road in the Sierra Nevada

Pitchers of Mango Margaritas!

I vote for the diner in Trout Lake for huck pancakes and milkshake for breakfast before/after a SW chutes. I can't wait for may!

In Portland it's hard to beat Javier's when you are rolling back into town at 3 am and there's nothing waiting in the fridge. It's open 24 hours, which is good because you wouldn't want to go there during the daylight. It's certainly not the best Mexican food in Portland but it's cheap, filling, and always open.

I also recommend it when drunk.

191 N Lombard--just a few blocks east of I-5

Finally ate at the Aardvark -Snoqualmie Pass- yesterday on the way home. Had a great hot dog and the guy who runs/owns the place gave us a couple free bowls of curry he wanted us to try. It was excellent! Definitely a unique place worth trying when you're at the pass.
