Another vote for the Beer Shrine coming back from Baker's north side.

Granite Falls' Omega Pizza is the perfect way to end a Pilchuk, Vesper, etc. hike.

Sadly the Mint in Enumclaw is permanently closed. It was a great place to get a burger and beer on the way home from Crystal…

When recreating in the Methow Valley it is hard to beat the Mazama Store (Mazama), East 20 Pizza (Winthrop) w/ great $2.50 pints from 3-5 p.m. 7 days a week, or the Twisp River Pub (Twisp).  All serve quality grub made with locally sourced ingredients.

Country Boys BBQ in Cashmere is also a favorite w/ easy on/off access to Hwy #2 and service that reminds you what service is all about.

Returning from Paradise= gas station in Ashford. A BBQ burrito cured to perfection under the heat lamp for 12 hours with a piece of Fried Chicken and a big gulp cherry coke with a dash from the root beer tap.

From skiing at Crustal= Snorting Elk Italian sandwich is the ONLY way to go .

I definitely remember this one from you Chris and for some reason feel compelled to tell others in the car about it whenever driving past that place. The strange powers of the Scotsman at work.

Finally ate at the Aardvark -Snoqualmie Pass- yesterday on the way home. Had a great hot dog and the guy who runs/owns the place gave us a couple free bowls of curry he wanted us to try. It was excellent! Definitely a unique place worth trying when you're at the pass.

I've never been a fan of the 5th wheel food vending at the pass, but he will be moving into a 70' train car in the next month or so. As far as food goes at the Pass Webbs on weekends and Ardvark are the only places worth while.
