I've hauled my TeleDaddies (now Atomic Janaks) all over and they're a great powder ski. Light, for their width, with decent torsional rigidity and great float.
I've got several friends on the Janaks, several on the Verdicts and a couple on the newer Anti-Pistes. Of all of them, the Verdicts seem like the most well-rounded, since they have similar dimensions to the Janaks/TDs, but a little more sidecut without making them "hooky" in deep stuff/crust.

A vote for the TeleDaddies (or Janaks) as well, I've had a pair with Fritschis as my only BC setup for the last 4 years and they are a blast in untracked snow, also pretty light for the uphill part. They're stiff though so when things get tracked out (if you ski the resorts) they're not so much fun.

Salomon x wing fury is by far the best skis I've ever had for every condition and I'm amazed how wonderful they are in Powder. Not sure it fallsin the "powder" catagory (85mm? underfoot) but I can't imagine needing anything wider for a one arrow (quiver) ski.

08/09 skis....
PM Gear Brocker?
Rossi S7?
DPS Lotus?
Lib NAS recurve?
Lot's of really cool handcrafted skis out there, many of them considerably less expensive than products from the ski making behemoths.

Volkl Mantra or Gotama! Freeride Plus mounted on my Mantras… great all-mountain/condition setup, esp in pow! Like my lighter BD ski setup, but less effort with the Volkl ski on the heavy snow, crud and variable conditions. Maybe not ideal for long tours, but excellent setup for one (or even two) day trips.

I vote for the Coomba. Good at everything but tight turns. I am thining about getting the re-mounted a couple of cm forward to see if that helps.
