I'm just imagining what I would do if someone "confronted" me in the woods about my skiing choices...

So I'm riding my snowmobile (I'm an avid skier, too) up near the lodge and this group skis out of the woods.  The alpha male starts tooling on me about riding where they are skiing (which I wasn't).  He got a little too close to me physically, while raising his voice, and I reflexively knocked him to the ground.  He then backed off, but it left me with a really bad feeling.  So backcountry "confrontations"  kind of get my back up....esp. because that's not the way we do it up here.

And that's why I carry my Springfield Armory compact .45 ACP (with concealed carry permit) in the bc--so I can confront **sholes who, if decide they want to assault w battery rather than discuss can meet their maker asap.

All good 'mericans are packing; most practice a quickdraw, too; I also keep an assault weapon under my bed for stray cats, coyotes, and meth heads;  I have one advantage over many fellow 'mericans in having had to carry and use deadly for force for work and pleasure
