POLL: Botched ski mount - do I demand new skis?

My new K2 Hardsides w/ Radical ST's came home from being mounted with significant dimples/protrusions in the base of one ski below heel piece screws. Other ski very slight bumps noticeable under heel piece.

Shop wants to fix. I want new sticks. Who's right?

Paid full price for mount but did not buy skis at shop. Will add photo to this post once I get back to the laptop.

All opinions welcome!

Shop screwed up, demand new skis, your safety is compromised because of poor work done by the wrenches.

Dimpled bases are sometimes something that can be easily fixed, I believe, but maybe a shop rat can chime in. If it's an easy fix that doesn't impact the structural integrity of the ski, then a shop fix seems reasonable to me.

I had some dimples once (actually they were positive bumps). After removing the offending screws, filling w/ epoxy, shortening the screws, and reinstalling them, the dimples persisted until I got a base grind which totally eliminated any trace of the dimples.

IMO, however, you paid pros to do the install so they're on the hook for their mistakes.

Yes, you might feel more comfortable with a fix with input from some experienced shop ra-, err, ski tech's, outside of that shop.
Although it's always a bit unnerving to hand the project back to the guy(s) that botched it in the first place.
Either way, I suppose it would be reasonable for the original mount to be on the house, maybe with a shop coupon to encourage your patronage and allow them to restore your confidence in their service.

Who provided the screws?
