I think someone was smokin' a little extra squeef in celebration of WA State's new law; therefore, they left the shop unabated ???

The shop that mounted them has a longstanding list of poor work. If you don't think it's a problem, may you be the next victim, bwwaahhhh, ha,ha,ha

Lots of low expectations out there for professional work...

The skis were screwed up and dimples like that become a problem with multiple waxings and lots of flexing. Yea, they can be sort of fixed but that in not why you buy "new" skis.

The solution for the customer may vary depending on what level of service the customer might expect but it is completely normal for the shop to take the hit for such poor work if the customer asks for replacement skis.

Been there, done that from the shop perspective.

1st - I'm not a shop rat or ski tech. However I've done my own mounts last couple times, including a moving a heal on a pair of gifted skis. I had the toe off as well, put the toe fasteners in the heal, and screwed em to the bench real good. I patched the core shots, ground the base, and they ski great. They were free...

2nd - Those are some big dimples.

3rd - I know family who owns a shop here on Mt Hood. Late one night, on a pair of ebay skis / bindings, he mounted a twin tip rig backwards. Even though he had to go to an outside distributor, he replaced the skis and did not charge for the mount. He's still in business.

Stupid hurts. I'm sore alot.
