This whole arguement would have been avoided if you snowboarded instead...

What fun would that be?

Please explain this statement.

If you consider that your skis are tools that allow you to travel deep into the woods and that a failure of those ski might result in problems, then a poor job of mounting bindings could diminish your safety margin. That some skis might be thin enough that standard binding screws would dimple the base and require a filling of the holes with a filler, a flattening of the dimples with heat or base removal, and a re-insertion of shortened screws, seems to be asking for problems if you expect your gear to be in the best possible condition.

Does that help?

They should be able to fix your dimples so that the only issue would be in your imagination not the mount or skiability. They should do it for free along with a free hat or wax scraper. After all, you gave them what amounted to a $10 profit. Would be different if you drop a lot of coin at the shop. I try to spread my $$ around.

You asked me. My 2 c.
