"Free your heel, split your lip with the tip" - or alternate - "Free your heel, kiss the tips with your lips"
The quote is mine, Scott showed me the technique
"If I knew how to ski, I wouldn't have to snowboard"
I was listening to an NPR interview and a guy was recalling that he often spent time at an aunt and uncles house when he was 7. Every night he would see his uncle get a brown bottle off of the fridge and have a little. He finally became curious enough to ask and his uncle explained it was his magic medicine. After a lot of begging, his uncle agreed to let him try it. He told him since he was so young, he should only have a little. He filled a spoon, told the kid to close his eyes and let him have it. Turns out his uncle was taking castor oil each night. The quote was:
"Things which appear good on the surface are perhaps better left alone"
It seemed appropriate to skiing based on the occasionally lively snowpack we have had this spring.

You can't top this one:
"If your knee still hurts, I have some Imodium. Trust me, I'm an EMT and I'm here to help" -Marcus
While this is a fabrication loosely based on reality, it was a classic too good to pass up. See the Phantom avy thread for context" www.turns-all-year.com/skiing_snowboardi...x.php?topic=20449.75 "
