Are you mounting those Marcus? They are super easy to mount. Just need to make sure the screws are driven straight in to avoid any resistance when putting on the main binding.
I set mine on my K2 Hardsides more to adjust back since I found out on my first mount that NTN does not ski as well in a forward position, at least for me.

I am, yeah -- I bought some Binding Freedom inserts, since I'm putting them into Voile Insanes and I've had tear-out problems with those skis in the past. Maybe overkill... Either way, the mount looks pretty straightforward. I'm putting them back far enough that I should be pretty close to boot-center/chord-center, with some room to move them on the plate.

What is that garmont boot? don't see it on their (USA) website. is that really an NTN shoe or a bad angle on the Kenai duckbill?

It's a new NTN boot that's apparently only available in Europe at the moment, hence no pics on GarmontUSA.

Never heard of those inserts. Thanks for the tip on those. They look better than the Heli-coil and more water proof for the ski when glued in properly, Way better than a heli coil or plastic plug. Don't want to drift to far, but are they compatible to any screw or only the ones Binding Freedom offers? I need to contact them and see if the hei-coil tools are the same as theirs.

They're an M5 thread, which is (I think) the standard machine screw thread that most snowboard bindings and insert mounts use. If you order from them, they have good prices on various lengths. I'm going to try to do the mount either tonight or tomorrow -- I'll post some pics if it works out.
