Holy crap.

No idea how they tour yet, but my NTN setup is a trench-carving high speed bonanza inbounds. Tx with NTN, blue springs on my beater Atomic TeleDaddies. Man, that's some fun times, right there.

That's great Marcus.
You are going to love them on your Voile skis! Now we need some pow!

Super ultra microscopic tour today -- about 30 minutes to do some search work with the dog while the VertFest racers were running up the hill. I don't find the tour mode to be a problem so far. There's a little more spring resistance than my old free-pivot setup and the tips don't float up quite as easily, but it's worth it for the increased control on the down. Chewed up snowshoe tracks and heavy new snow skied beautifully.

Great race to watch, too. Lots of powder kitties.

I had regular problems again today with snow buildup in the orange base of the binding, under the springs and the white plastic pieces.  It's happened every time I've ridden my NTNs, both lift and 2 tours.  What the hey!?!?  It cakes up, then I can't get the front boot flat on the ski, and at times it actually starts levering the boot out of the binding.
Anyone else have this problem?  What did you do?
Yesterday I used quick wax inside the orange base, but it happened anyway.  It's a major issue, and today I had to take off the skis and pick the snow out with a pole tip about eight times.  I never heard anything about this while shopping, demo-ing, and reading reviews.
Someone said to use Voile anti-ice tape.  Hopefully it is only a problem in deep wet snow, and real pow or corn will stay where it belongs.   >:(

There was a bunch of info about that on TTips -- I think md2020 cut out some foam liners for the interior. I didn't have that problem today, but I could definitely see the potential for it in this kind of snow.

Ummmm, if it's a problem in deep wet snow... around here, it's a problem.

I heard the foam pads work. I saw pics somewhere. Probably T-tips. Also, packing tape is cheaper and much easier to come by than Voile "anti-ice tape" (AKA packing tape ;))
