The primary purpose is already achieved..you have your non-motorized areas and there are plenty.  The USFS does not enforce anything that I'm aware of so why make more areas to not enforce.   As far as your WMC Executive folks, what is that, one person?

We are here on this non-motorized skier website to inform and ask those interested to lend their voice.

Sticking to the same line, as you have above, has been called 'boilerplate' in the past. Our entire WMC message is ignored by that one phrase. The WMC post is updated because of recent events. As we have stated, three of us comprised the WMC Executive to guide the public effort and attend meetings. We all have used and two of us regularly use snowmobiles to go skitouring. Two of us are very active as the WMC Executive, one advises and is less active. WMC brings together discussion of interested parties, a discussion that has been engaged by over 20 individuals with the appropriate authority in one meeting this year.

We hope that those interested will review the URLS provided above, especially the recent ones. Those Forum postings demonstrate that in some cases, not even Wilderness is non-motorized!

This Forum posting shows snowmobile tracks crossing Headlight Basin and Stuart Pass. the photos were taken and labeled by a snowmobile rider-
