It's the sort of systematic error that may require anyone using it for scientific research to treat this season's data from that sensor with caution. Won't matter much to skiers, but it'll matter at least a little to water and climate folks.

The levels can go up and down with new snowfall, settling and wind transport etc.. if the water folk want to know how much water is there they look at the NRCS snotels for SWE. I would say it's not an issue at all.

When I'm breaking trail, I rarely deem it necessary to pull off the track more than a few feet to pee, and usually just to spell something out like "Mofro waz here" with my best Peefritti.

1) tell the lead kicker "great lead" after they set the track
2) share food
3) share liquor
4) if you brought bottled beer, brag about it. and also brag about it on the next tour

1)After a tour it is correct etiquette to only post the pictures of your partners that displays their best skiing form. Save the pictures where they look like a giraffe on a skating rink and in complete dork mode for blackmail to get fresh tracks the next time.

2) When deciding to ski a suspect slope , the person without children or the lowest net worth finacially should go first as they have the least to lose.

3) Rule 2 above is superceded if skiing with people of faith, then they go first as they have to most to gain.
