I'll bite. here's my take
Even though I recomended you go fritschi.  these days I mainly ski dynafits. well to tell the truth I also have tele gear also.

Dynafit Other than race models
TLT Speed or Classic are Light weight most often used without brakes. Less fore aft adjustment in heel piece.
Comfort model  also well regarded are  older version of ST and FT
ST has  Din 10  Ft has din 12  and both  often used with brakes .
ST and FT have improved crampon slots. ST and FT have more heel fore aft adjustment which is nice for boot changes or letting friends borrow.
There is one discontinued model that was problematic, The tri step.
Some people claim no problems ???
Lou dawson at Wild snow has good info

I bought my ST s with brakes and crampons at Second ascent for 400. two years ago.
Good luck and happy shopping

Joeda, your garage is like the lab in Young Frankenstein were weird and experimental mutations to ski gear is performed by a practitioner of the "dark arts."
When I first beheld the Frankentele bindings and boots that you set up from the Spademan's  I was intrigued and then horrified.
I'm surprised the Greenwater locals are not mobbing your garage with pitchforks and burning torches.

My other name is Abby Normal.
At least it keeps it interesting. ;)
