That TLT 5 is one light boot. Feels like picking up the liner when you lift it.
I wonder how well it stays warm when hanging around?
I've seen criticisms that it is a cold boot; but it is not meant for lift-served, sidecountry, or hanging around--every time I get back from skiing the liners in my boots are soaked and steaming, even with lightweight silk blend or smart wool ski socks, and I don't hang around (I have to keep moving because of my arthritis. I think those on multi-day camping out trips would be the most concerned; but I carried down booties for winter camping.

You might want to try anti-perspirant spray on your feet before your next trip and see if your socks and liners stay drier.

Yeah, I used to use anti-perspirant on my feet--and it works! With these new boots it might be mandatory.
