I believe I was eyeing your tracks from the Triple-60 lift and was jealous I couldn't wake up early enough for a tour. Nice work!
I was hoping to do some serac climbing down at the toe of the Coleman this weekend. Any word on how it looked?
I'm heading down there this weekend and trying to decide if I should just get up wicked early or stay overnight. How long did it take you to get to the summit?
Here's a few photos. I didn't take too many. Was having too much fun!http://www.flickr.com/photos/22929755@N00/sets/72157625999984513/with/5472517631/

100 times up Muir is a milestone for sure, but is this this first histogram ever posted to Turns All Year? That might be even more of a milestone!Sorry, I'm a sucker for analytical nerdiness. Nic...
Beautiful story. Thanks for sharing.
Outstanding! I definitely need to get down there this season. Can you comment on the road conditions?
I love it, but it raises an interesting question. This is pretty much the least amount of snow you could possibly ski to get your turns, but would it count if you got some turns on something other tha...
Looks beautiful! Skiing glop is still preferable to hiking in my opinion. It's all just a means of getting outside.
author=jcocci link=topic=15927.msg66554#msg66554 date=1268271178]Thanks for the report. I will be there in a few weeks to do the Haute Route, but we are planning on doing the Vallee Blanche run before...
Here are some pics. Beautiful day, huh?
Ha! I must have followed your footsteps yesterday. I got to the same "interesting rock scramble" and decided to throw in the towel and grab a beer back in town. I'd had plenty of fun wa...
I was contemplating hiking/skining up Denny and then coming back down international. Did you catch a view of conditions up top at all?
I've never skied down there but would like to. Are there lines back down from Camp Muir where you don't have to worry about sloughs?
That looks awesome. I've never been down there but need to ski St. Helens ASAP. Are there any areas you need to be cautious about as far as avalanches are concerned?author=Teleskichica link=topic...
Could someone clue me in as to where this wonderful place is? I must go there!
If the road is gated, how difficult is it to get around the gate?
I just called the St. Helens visitor's center and they said the road was closed at the Couger Sno Park. Is it really plowed all the way up there?
