I thought I'd take a chance and see if there was anything worth skiing at Hyak today. You don't know if you don't go, right? We got there at 8:30am and the slopes resembled an ice rink. Seeing as I had my skins and not my skates, I opted to run some laps on Silver Fir and Chair 2 (the latter of which was pretty darn good). I think the name of the game up at the pass right now is to go high or go in the afternoon (or both!).
