Don't forget these guys who did a more impressive (and much faster) trip from south to north last month:

Looks awesome! Strong work pulling that off in a single day.
I was headed that way yesterday too, but didn't find any partners so went for a hike in the park instead. It felt like August!
This may be the greatest display of ski bum jackassery I have seen, and it is perfect. Great video and way to get the first descent, and the second.
Rockin' 5-0, strong work Lowell, Ross and Tom!
Not that there's anything wrong with that!
90 degrees in Bellingham today
Skykilo summed it up, I could not look away, even though I really wanted to.
Rad!  BEEEEyond my comfort zone. Curious if you guys have practised roping up for glacier travel?  Helens tandem is only cracking the lid on pandoras box. Much left for you two.
So intrigued.  Can't look away.  Are they having the most fun of all !?  Kudos.

What's in the keg?
so, do you only need one permit for that?
Looks like a great trip, great to do it in one day, to say you did, but think I would be tired, and the creek crossing would scare me.
great photos!  it would take me more than a day for sure.

the chatter creek crossing looks pretty hairy.  none of those little logs look confidence inspiring!
Oops, just realized I posted this in the April trip forum. Could somebody move this to May when that forum is created?

that's looking way too good, that can't be legal
Up there today. Road is open now to drive to the trailhead. Continuous snow from 4300' on the summer trail. We booted all the way up and then skied the gunsight, great day.
We headed back to the car from the pass just before 1400 hours.
We need a mule service to Victor. You guys must have headed back early: that corn hardened into very fast icy crust in the evening. N
Lowell, I'm not sure we are worthy of sharing such a personal moment, but thanks so much for letting us in.  Makes me happy to share the good with the sad.
chamois, i think the blog post hummel linked too has some urban traverse scenes.

i put together a video with footage from the second traverse.  i'm still learning this whole filming and editing thing.  haven't mastered the art of short movies yet.  it's worth watching through the first song if you want to see the tomahawk.

As usual just awesome -- lots of tricks there and a full PNW adventure.  The scene of climbing on the Metro Bus - -pictures??
There is a deep patch of snow just past the bridge where you turn towards Silver. Patchy snow for about a mile after that then solid snow.   You are basically skinning from Keechelus.  A SUV was stuck in the bridge patch yesterday. I would recommend going in via Ski Acres unless your into extra credit suffering.
Thanks for sharing how meaningful the mountains are to all of us!  They bring us together with the most amazing people
Nice TR Kyle...and pics Ben! It's always fun to trapeze around these out of the way peaks.

BTW, for those that are interested in more, here's a story from my perspective that I put together yesterday: http://www.myadventurecrusade.com/2016/04/28/14-lakes-traverse/

Great report and adventures, Kyle, Ben and Jason
awesome photos and adventures - thanks for sharing!
Road to Silver Pk status?
Ditto on Silver except the fog on the final ridge did not relent and there was no firm snow anywhere.
Much love to your people
Beautiful - thank you so much.
Wonderful final ascent.

Wow..that sounds like a great tour. How is the sun cup situation? Looks like thwre is great tourinpg around that region without goung for the summit.

THANKS..HAVE REALLY ENJOYED YOUR TRS.

There are no sun cups. It is a fun tour.  ;)
Bittersweet - trying to make lemonade from some of life's bitterest lemons.  Well done Lowell.
Wow. I can't think of much to say but wow.
this was a fun read, thanks for sharing! :) I'd like to tell myself I'd do more touring on Shasta someday, seems I only get down there for a go at avy gulch skiing once a year. But I'm always mesmerized by the mountain, it's like a taller, more accessible Mt. Adams with more varied terrain, to me at least.

That's Franklin Falls the following day.  Don't forget to stop at the Aardvark for some hurry curry :)
Thank you for sharing Lowell another beautiful day in remembrance of such wonderful people.
Couldn't think of a more beautiful place.

Ohhhh Goode some fond some not to fond memories.
The first picture is classic Cascades.  Kudos.
It's just not fair.  Sorry that such majesty can hold so much pain.
The logging seems to be concentrated on the Stafford Creek Road. We had no problems weekend or weekday on the Teanaway River Road.
2 tails of awesomeness!
Oops..wrong Nick..sorry..thanks for beta write-up.That approach would be a great with lots of solitude..good one!
