It made sense to me having flunked Algebra twice and I wrote it after my 3rd tall glass of Merlot. One of these days we'll meet in lot 4,  I'll explain it to,  and then we both won't understand.

we have met wooley on a nice spring day and i played on snow with your early arriving son today.
snow was silky good

Being from New England doesn't mean you can drive in the snow

Went up I-90 about 1. Road surface was dry and loud. Traffic was light.  I led 4 skiers on a tour from Hyak to the top of the nearest peak. For two of skiers it was their 1st time on skis. Much post holing up to our hips getting to the top from the south. South aspect was quite unconsolidated but the NWAC rated danger as Low. North aspect was firm and playful. Too much yoyo-ing the far side kicked my butt.

Some of the group tasting conditions before the start

I left North Bend at the crack noon after chores. Made my first Hyak run at 2. Got my car tidied up and listened to favorite tunes along the way. Powder was falling. 10 - 15 runs in light powder on groomed with whipped cream on the side if you wanted it. Headed for Webbs for dinner but traffic past east of Central was stopped. Turned around and waited it out in a hot tub. Everyone was behaving themselves at 30 mph on the way home. Unusually safe travel today.

At least powder frenzied and drug addled skiers and boarders are not part of the problem, right?

Everyone who drives over the hill is "Part" of the problem.  That's a stretch of road with truly unique issues. It'll take a unique solution. Education and signage isn't and can't work. Seems to me that working at one of largest issues would make sense to start with.  Driving too fast for conditions is in the top 3 IMO. I admit that I think about that trip more than most as 5 people I love, 6 if you include me, travel that  stretch amost every day. I would just guess that smokers and drinkers are not one of the top 5 issues. Just my guess. You could be right. Not sure how that could be controlled for travel over the pass.

Edited to make sense. I think.
