2005 wasn't so bad -- at least compared to my memory of 1977 -- when Ski Acres had a grand total of one day of operation and Washington and Chinook passes never closed. Conversely in 1977 people toured to places than normally never see skiers mid-winter due to long snow covered approach roads that were drivable -- Think Mt Baker in January with no snow machines..

My sister lives in Anchorage (near Flattop) -- They had a foot of snow at their house last weekend. There will be snow -- but perhaps not so much at low-snow-quality pass.
