A stroke! Man, maybe you should start exercising more regularly, like a good long hike with a heavy pack several times a month. In the Bible, Paul told Timothy to talke a little alcohol occasionally. Oh...you've already got those covered. Well I don't have any further advice.

Good on you for getting out today with Robie. You are one amazing role model. Climb on, friend!

Ron, scary stuff, glad to hear you are doing well.  Shirley and I both wish you a quick recovery.  But don't worry if it takes a while.  Seems like there have been several evenings at the Silcox smart table where you were already slurring your speech and messing up jokes, and nobody minded.

Glad you decided to stick with us a while, Ron.

Mark - that's the politically correct response which would be VERY rare for Ron.

I imagine he said, "F**k off!  I'm not ready!"

Wishing you all the best Ron for your full recovery. I suspect you'll be back in full fettle in no time. Just look on the brightside - it's another reason for the young whipper-snappers to break trail and let their olders and betters get first tracks. :)
