Hello Ron!  Wow, scary stuff, this getting older.  Here we all worry about a few gray hairs and extra pounds, and you go and set the bar higher!  How's that old saw go, "Getting old isn't for sissies!"
But our very best wishes to you Ron, for a continued great recovery, and skiing again for you very soon.
Lots of love, Gerry and Linda Haugen

leaving one’s fly open, one would not think twice if such scandal were accomplished by a stroke victim. I can see things becoming less “formal” quite easily. It might every turn out to be another way to help people be more at ease.

There have been more than Ron that has left their fly down, ;).  Not to worry about the jokes, JW and I can probably fill in the blanks.  Think I'll offer to do the driving for a while until I'm ordered back to the co-pilot seat  ;).  Looking forward to a great ski season no matter where our destination.

Wishing you a fast recovery,  hope you already got your october turns in, it could be epic schlepping yourself to a snowfield next weekend...

Likely Ron and Mad Dog have already skied three Sundays at Muir this month. The walk to begin skinning beyond Mazama Ridge is about 40minutes now, pretty darn good for October, and the snow surface is smooth!

Tough way to create an excuse for your drooling, open fly, etc. Hope you are back in the game very soon Ron!

Ron like everyone has stated Linda and I wish you a speedy recovery. Your experience has given us pause to consider our own health  ??? so I guess that's a positive to come from your experience. Just think of that PT as boot camp for the ski season  ;D.  LOL

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Ron, hope you're out of the woods and up on the slopes soon.
