Yeah, because there are hordes of other skiers waiting to RUIN your ART in those locales. Like those areas, most of the places I tour at around here, myself or my group will be the only skiers for days if not weeks. If someone wants to cross my tracks go for it, they be erased soon anyways.

That's it right there for me. Turn farming and spooning is for Utah or $10,000 a day Mike Weigle heli trips in the 80's.

It might rain or dump 3 feet tomorrow, and it might never snow again in our lifetimes. I will obviously avoid your line for 5 or so minutes, but if you are not at the bottom of it, your turn is over.

Insisting on the fall line? As long as it isn't some silly traverse (like out "near" the King because you want a few fresh turns but don't want to walk a bit) it is fine by me.
Craig Kelly (I think) said something once about imagining a ball tossed down at an angle to the fall line. I like to play with the terrain, not follow it straight to the bottom in exactly the turn radius that the county sheriff enforces.

If I don't cross your tracks can I stop right next it and piss in it?

With all theses rules I feel like I am reading a municipal code. Let's not endanger others, have fun and respect the hard work of others.

Oh, and tailgate the $-_t out of Scotsman....

OK, here I go. sounds like we need to have E Patrols in the BC.
Rule # 1. when parking next to a parked car, don't pee on their tires or behind their bumper.

I think some folks are confusing "etiquette" with "laws."

etiquette
Definition
et·i·quette[ éttikət ]NOUN
1. rules of acceptable behavior: the rules and conventions governing correct or polite behavior in society in general or in a specific social or professional group or situation

I'm sure many of us burp at meals, don't write written thank yous in response to wedding invitations, etc. No one is expecting the etiquette police to bust us for these infractions. I have been finding it interesting to see what others care about here, even though I'm hardly going to start following ALL the suggested conventions. But it strikes me that one basis for a civil society is being able to at least share such thoughts with each other, for each others' consideration. Even the thought that tailgating is a great idea (I actually used to think that, as I grew up in MA, and I think Scotsman would be proud of my father's style of driving - it took a few months out here to realize how whacked some of my driving habits were, though as long as we're on rules - take your damn turn at 4 way stops and don't make us all wait for the "you go, no you go" thing! If you don't, I'll surely go, as you can take the boy out of MA, but you can't take all of the MA out of the boy...).

A few months ago you and WMC were whining about snowmobilers tracking out  all your powder and demanding equity now you're boasting about expanses of unpopulated untracked powder and how alone it is out there.
Make up your goddamn mind and show some consistency will' ya.
I'd don't think I believe you anymore..... I've lost faith in your veracity Aaron.

In my post that you quoted I said we would be the only skiers, not the only users and said nothing about untracked snow. Unfortunately, a lot of the time areas are tracked up by snowmobiles. I expect more from you.
