I prefer to carry less equipment and more food. That way I can eat constantly. In fact, I carry a backpack full of food and water and am perfectly happy to have less stuff that I never use anyway. Usually four sandwiches, two dozen cookies, and other assorted goodies are enough for a day of skiing. I'd rather have sunburn than go hungry or thirsty because the sunscreen took up precious carrying space in my pack. Sunblock is for babies anyway. Who cries about sunburn? I've attached a photo of some of my own ten essentials ... I find these much more helpful.

BTW I agree with you on the sunblock.Not needed!![/b]
I was going for the Bold, italicized, underlined, dual color with double exclamation points for the perfect 10 but reached too high!!! :'(
