When I read this it brings back memories. It is as if I have gazed into the mirror ten to fifteen years ago and I see a young man full of himself steered with pomp and ego. Man those were fun times! Skiing lines with huge consequence and taking to the air as if a bird of prey. Being plagued with the inability to fathom the repercussion of my actions it's a wonder I am still here.
Welcome to the board powdherb. Your style, much like a brick through a plate glass window, will be a fun addition to the community. I can't recall the last time someone stirred the pot so well. I like the pictures you have taken they are quite a site,but, PICTURES ARE USELESS WITHOUT GREAT BETA!
In time you too will mellow and the level acceptable risk will decrease because you will find it does not matter who is watching or applauding you. You will have nothing to prove and you will ski because it feels good. You will get something from skiing that you didn't get before. You will care more about contributing great beta so that others can benefit thus enhancing the back country experience. What the heck am I saying ? Could this really happen to powdherb? Stay tuned....only time will tell.
