Nice rant Jock!

We should confront this fellow tomorrow. Remind him that "Stu" is British cuisine and correct his pronunciation of it. Then smash all his crackers.

On this occasion (and this occasion only) I will overlook any of our own simmering cultural differences should you feel the need to paint yourself William Wallace* blue for added menace.

*drawing and quartering was too good for him if you ask me

No. I am feeling sensitive and a growing empathy for this chap. Ladling copious amounts of brown stew into bowls all day to satisfy the hunger pangs of $900 arc'teryx clad head to toe , work shirking, quiver of skis owning, immigrants while only earning a pittance must be soul destroying especially when they are bitching about not getting extra crackers. I'm taking tel-girls lead and going to extend the hand of friendship and express my understanding of his feelings of contempt for us.
I think I'm growing emotionally

LIke I said, if you've ever served food or drink in a ski area (I have and it can SUCK!!!!), you know how incredibly __________ (fill in the blank) it can be. That said, he's been there for at least a few years and presumably knows what he's in for each season, and if he really hates it so much he projects his frustration on the mountain's (not his!) customers, perhaps he should seek his way in the world elsewhere. Just sayin.

Also, I must admit that in my encounter with him I did get a bit rude after he pulled his tricks initially. I don't think anyone's being rude here though.

What Scottie? You swithched to Arc'teryx?

Of course I'm cracking up as I am so reminded of the Simpson's episode over the pronunciation of the word "chowder." In The Boy Who Knew Too Much, Mayor Quimby ("chowdah") tries to force a French waiter ("chowdare") to say "chowder" in a less-French way. Life imitating art?

This thread would have died a quick death had we any snow. Though LCC was forecasting 46 degrees at Alta today, they are predicting snow. To the Rockies...

Newsflash! Stu Nazi gives Scotsmans wife extra crackers!
She was skiing yesterday.
There where only 3 people in line.
Stu Nazi gives them lecture about line management as 2 of the 3 was not properly in line.
Line reorganized to his satisfaction.
Ordering commenced.
Wife orders chilly with effusive thank you's.
Is asked by Stu Nazi if she will eat 3!!! packets of crackers if she is given them.
She says yes.
Sitting at table, wife sees Stu Nazi approaching. Is scared that he is checking that she has eaten all three. Starts scoffing down remaining crackers in desperate attempt to avoid " uneaten cracker " confrontation.
Stu Nazi diverts to different table.
Day saved.

3 packets of Crackers!!!

The sheer extravagance!

No wonder he checked that they were being fully consumed?

Hopefully he left his ladle with someone capable of keeping customers correctly vectored and stacked for their final approach.

"Yes please" is met with "a please will always get you three crackers at Campbell Basin". I've did this dance with our guy up there for years and look forward to it in the off season.

Most funny and excellent thread fo sho.
