What an amazing weekend of weather up on the north side of Adams. A group of us skied NWR around 1 Sat from the pinnacle, then Lava Ridge Sun around 10. You get some good photos? I'd be psyche...
Thanks for the inspiration and summary of the beauty that is fast and light. Since I don't seem to excel at sedentary meditation, I'm happy to latch onto the term aerobic meditation!
Nice to see you living it up!
Thanks for the great photography!
Way to capitalize on the weather!
Geez, now I know where everyone's going next weekend ::)
Cool! Couldn't imagine taking a bus to ski a cascade volcano.
Stunning cinematography, what a great way to capture an amazing trip!
Thanks for the pics Susan and Charlie!
I always thought you looked like a tarantula, esp with the sun hat & whippets. The tarantula hawk was probably just a little hung over, having double vision, doubled your two legs & two...
Awesome you guys!
Nice photos Amar, esp. the multiple exposure panorama. Looks like you're getting used to the new Photoshop.
Really wish I could have cloned myself this weekend! Damn nice trip you two.

Stellar day, love the pass when it's sunny. I was thinking about that tour just a few days ago!
You're ruining my street cred. Here's a few shots of Amar in his element. Nisqually glacier/icefall sets the backdrop & debris flow adds extra texture.
Oh! Oops, sorry Eric for wrongfully molesting your boots. "Boots" was what was supposed to go after the "..." Although your boots like pretty nice too.
Thanks Ryan for the insight, I like reading your thoughts. Looks like Eric got some fancy skis to match his fancy...hot... curvy....
I saw him a few weekends in a row up there last year and he seemed like a pretty nice guy when I chatted with him.
Can't believe you didn't call me for this "once in a decade or more" descent. Congratulations.
We laughed after reading this - the photographic evolution is great. I'm going to laugh about this trip for a while.
I guess that was worth missing nachos.
Way to style it you two! Not leave the City until 5 am and ski the Park in Oct is pretty smooth.
So many hot exposed bodies undoubtedly increased the rate of glacier recession! I really had no idea how big I would be missing out on this one!

Guess I should add this one to my list. Looks like an amazing trip! I like the long description of conditions - nice to see you had beer at the end!
