Thanks for the great TR. Great skiing and photos.
thanks for the report. Afraid your pictures aren't showing up for me.
Thanks for one of the best TRs in a long time!
Wow!! Great work team (the bike portion would scare me much more than skiing glaciers).
Sorry, no Twin pics.
Pete, we left around 5, but are a couple of old unfit geezers, so our 8 hour climbing time should be taken with a grain of salt. Sorry, I didn't take a picture or look much at the end run situati...
Chamois, we had the whole mountain to ourselves that day, but I totally agree with not disturbing others with the buzzing. One of the reasons I got the drone I did is that it's quieter than most...
Cooler than a moose and twice as hairy!
When I did that route many years ago there was a flagged climber's trail of sorts tunneling through the slide alder on the left side which we found with luck. Still a lot of shwacking with skis....
Great work, both skiing and some of your best POV yet - esp. following Eric. I also liked the fall!
Wonderful pix! Thanks for the psych.
Thanks guys, it's good to be back out in the mountains! You're right Nick, Baker is next, and I'll let you know when I'm heading up there Mr. Burns.
Thanks for the report Charlie. I've got friends coming in from UT and we are headed up for a climb this week. I've really been wondering about conditions.
We were there yesterday and found all exposed slopes on the north side to be quite wind affected. Steeper slopes were reactive. The small bits we cracked were small and soft, but it kept us off the st...
Most excellent! Glad you finally got er done. Congrats to both of you.
Kenji, I had my heart set on spending the night on Dege to shoot some time-lapses - I love that view. Not really any good spots to bivy, though I managed to find an ok spot for my neo-air wedged betwe...
Great days guys! Thanks for jump-starting that last excellent lap Silas.
Yowza! Goodonya Amar - you're an animal. I've gotta get back down there.
More pics and TR over at NWH
Great pics!
Way to get after it DOD!
Cooler than a moose & twice as hairy haggis!!
You are a nut, but I love it! Glad you're ok.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I don't know how many times I climbed or skied up around there BITD when I lived in SLC. Skiing this line was not an option (for me) back then, but I love th...
Thanks for the beta and excellent photos of a great looking place. Are there showers at the lodge? How was the food? $$$?
Thanks for the report Nick. We were undecided on a destination driving up, but this helped us choose an old favorite. We took the other approach up the creek, which wasn't bad (esp. since another...
Another great TR Amar. Wish I could have joined you on one of the Turtle adventures, but I was guiding friends down the Paradise Saturday and Sunday, which was pretty much perfect meadow skipping corn...
Cooler than a moose & twice as hairy!!
Wunderbar!
Nice work Jeff, love the sunset shots, and some of my favorite music!
