The Next Adventure Tune Shop knows how to tune! I'll trust anyone with a banjo. Christoph nice job... Is that the "on3p Breakdown" or "Hot Wax Ripple"? Love it. Are you coming up for Wintergrass?

What the deuce? I mean there's the rig, and then there's the whole bench in the living room with drill, knife and toddler. How do you swing this? I need some tips! The day I bust out like this is the day my wife suggests I live in a van down by the river.

Kudos to you wooley12!

Full disclosure. It's the kitchen counter at my daughters place in Tacoma. Had to mount some Pontoons while snowed in last year. Dad's get cut some slack while, as a husband, I am made to take off my shoes and shop apron prior to entering the castle of SheWhoMustBeObayed from my shop in the basement.

My man cave with a waxing/tuning set up fabricated from 2x4 scraps topped with pieces of an old sleeping pad.

Fair enough wooley12, just needed to make sure I didn't miss something key my relationship management protocol... ;)

PS, excellent parenting skills by the way. Seems like your daughter may be more open to a guy having a bench front and center in the home. Or maybe it takes two generations and it will take with the toddler. In any case, your work is setting the stage for future bench placement freedom. May the fortunate recipients of your cultural priming remember your deeds. While we celebrate Columbus Day today, and your seed sowing may not result in a national holiday, hopefully you can reflect with a sense of accomplishment. Or perhaps there is a Bench Day in our future?
