First some breaking news: Kyle has been invited to appear on King 5's New Day Northwest tomorrow, Jan 23. The show starts at 11 am. That is if he can pull himself away long enough from the epic pow up at Crystal
So, we had a big turnout for the sneak peek at Crystal on the 15th – thanks to all who came, and hoping for an even bigger crowd at the Seattle premiere on Friday, Feb 3. We're planning for another fun evening – not only a great opportunity to see 2 new films on the ski and splitboard scene, but also to give back to NWAC for all their work.
The event is actually 2 for 1, featuring both FreeRider produced by us at Crest Pictures and Wyoming Triumph by KGB Productions of Jackson Wyoming. Their film is about a band of ski and snowboard friends and professionals who set out on a 2-yr mission to scout the vast and mostly unskied interior of their home state.
It's at The Mountaineers Program Center, 7700 Sand Point Way NE in Seattle. Admission is $10 ($11 online with a credit card). The doors open at 6:30 PM so plan to come early, drink beer, buy raffle tickets, and hook up with friends. The show starts around 7:30 PM with a brief introduction of FreeRider by filmmaker Robert Chrestensen and Kyle. Then KGB screens their feature-length film Wyoming Triumph. A raffle for gear from EVO and Eddie Bauer's First Ascent will follow the screenings. Proceeds are for the benefit of the Northwest Weather and Avalanche Center (NWAC).

Tickets available at the door and at Brown Paper Tickets: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/221185

Hope to meet up with some you there! Kath

Sorry for bringing this up again ... but I just wanted to give folks a last heads up about this Friday night, Feb 3 – a double feature with FreeRider and Wyoming Triumph.
We've been working with Friends of the Northwest Weather and Avalanche Center and KGB Productions putting together the final touches for the show ... if you're planning to attend come early cause I'm thinking party time ... with the 2 films and a keg of beer and raffle for NWAC.
BTW ... here are some other upcoming shows
On Saturday, Feb 11, Kyle will be in Port Angeles screening FreeRider and giving a presentation about his splitboarding trips in the Olympics, that include, along the Bailey Range, up the Hoh Glacier to Olympus and other summits, and into the Vahallas. It's a benefit for the Hurricane Ridge Winter Sports Club and will be at the BarN9ne, 229 W 1st St, at 7 pm .. admission is $5.
On Thurs, Feb 23, there will be a show in Bellingham similar to the one in Seattle with Wyoming Triumph. It's being put on by the AS Outdoor Center on the WWU campus in Fraser Hall 4, 516 High St, at 7 pm. And it's free. Kyle will be there.
See our website for more info about FreeRider , including future screenings.
