well i hope you are correct scotsman, and they groomed upper Nash.

I am trying to think if UPPER NASH has ever been groomed and I can't think of it. I could be wrong but I don't think upper Nash has ever been groomed. Even lower Nash only gets it occasionally and NEVER up to the dogleg.
Anyway it does not matter because NASH has been closed for two days, the 13 and today the 14th of January. 2011. To much rain. The peaks above can let loose and duesh the run on both upper and lower Nash. I bet they will try to open it for this weekend though. But forget about BC.
Just my take on this little rain event in the middle of winter, nothing to worry about.
Remember how the media said the skiing was going to be so good and everyone bought into it? I do.

How to deal with Cascade rain depression? The same treatment that worked last when the depression was caused by no snow (or rain) in the Cascades...

the Rockies...hedging ones bets on the Cascades.

Yesterday at Brighton we had 6 inches of new and 28 degrees. Last night 3 more inches and 27 degrees.

By the way, I refuse to ski in the rain.

Interesting projects Greg.
You just put the ski tails through the big loop and the wire mechanism holds the ski in place? Does it hook/hold on below the toepiece?
The modifications to the pants are great, smart.

Looks like your gearing up for VertFest.

Yeah, you put the tails through the big loop, making sure it goes under the heelpieces, and hook the metal thing wherever you can attach it while fumbling around behind your back - usuall above the toes. Seems to work fine in my yard, we'll see.

Vertfest? Yeah, that's coming up soon - though the last couple times I just held my skis in my hands booting up Rollen, no problem and even faster.
