Check out the telemetry at Stevens and Alpental for some truly staggering temperature increases: 9-->20-->31 degrees from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 4,900 feet at Stevens, for example.

Was just looking at that. Had to click the refresh buttons a couple of times just to make sure. Could that really be?

If it wasn't consistent across the three sites I'd would have thought it was an anomaly...

It looks like classic east flow erosion by what I think they call something like the "warm moist overrunning air mass" or something like that. Even the Paradise All Year folks must be taking note of the warming...

Big time inversion too at the passes due to easterlies, e.g. 27 at the top of Alpental, 13 at the 4300 ft site -> likely freezing rain.
