Same here, and I almost never have fogging issues with my goggles. CrAzy phenomenon!

I left Alpental and took a lap at Central just for kicks around noon. Nasty rain crust...on ME. I was a popsicle and had an impenetrable hard icy suit of armor after just one run. It made jacket removal back at the car "sporting". Good times.

I discussed the scenario of the unfolding weather system with a buddy on the phone the night before and he dubbed the next day's conditions the "Power hour", meaning if you didn't get there before the precipitation switched from snow to freezing rain and then to rain, you would have missed the goods. We both thought that there would be a 1 hour window to get the goods.

He was on the money with that call. The only adjustment was how long the power hour lasted. I was still loving it at alpental until about 11:00 am. I made my last ride up to the top dropped in and loved the 'nash' side which was flat and soft and skied fantastic. Adreniline's conditions were fantastic too, as was most of lower nash. I had to ski the runnout at the base of lower nash in the freezing rain/rain mix. I could feel the difference in the snow's moveability as I descended below nash and called it a day at 11:30. The Power hour was worth the white knuckle ride up the hiway.

*I skied praxis Bm 110's yesterday. Praxis makes great skis. I bet those powder boards ski great. (I have the moment R/R's)
