OK once more but pay attention!!!I have a 2" pom on a 3 inch string powder 8 hat, I own a pair of Karhu Guide Waxless so use that of that disipline.
And the 2" pom on the other Powder 8 hat attached used for the Stokes.
What do I do with the Dirt Bag King hat with a 3" pom? I have used them with the Stokes and they quite like the 3" pom.
2" inchTassel( corrected your mistake) on 3" string= Karhu Guide Waxless only.
2" pom on Powder8 hat= OK for Stokes( 105mm waist)
3" pom= OK for Stokes aswell ( 2" rule applies to LESS than 105mm so it's OK but just barely becuase Stokes do have some rocker) but you can't wear it with your other skis which are all less than 105mm. If you hadn't sold your S7's you could have worn the 3" pom which would have be more correct than wearing them with the Stokes.

But you're right, it begins with acknowledging that one is powerless over ones faults
This has never been one of my many problems as most of the time I am wrong and I know it.
However, on matters of skiing etiquette I am infallible like the Pope, hence my meteoric rise to Chief Etiquette Officer of TAY.

Good question and one I have pondered for a while and think I am ready to issue a Bull on the matter after much contemplation.Dear Miss Manners
What are our views regarding tassel turbulence and pompom flutter irritation factor in Helicopter downdrafts?
When heli skiing the usual helmet disadvantages such as carrying them when skinning is moot so it would lead one to think that wearing a helmet while heli-skiing for the added safety would be a good choice.
However, since heli skiing is very expensive and a rare treat to savoured and who doesn't want that glorious moment of one immersed in powder, superfat skis surfing across the fall line while the vibrant colors of your beanie with resplendent pompom sits like a crown upon your head ... for today, in this instant you are no longer of mortal men but have transformed to a higher state of consciousness and are experiencing the zen like trance of living in the moment.
So, no helmet for heli-skiing. Beanie with 4" pompom.
