Chairlifts That Have Moved

I skied Blacktail Mountain outside Lakeside, MT a couple of times. As I recall, all 3 of their chairs were moved there from other resorts, including one from Crystal.
Maybe Blacktail Mountain has the old Pilchuck chair via Crystal? The mystery thickens!
I hear that THIS LINK below is where Debbie's Gold double chairlift from Alpental ended up along with the Bonanza Chair from Ski Acres (central).

Libby Montana looks VERY interesting for skiing. I bet its quiet there and a lift line is a low possiblity.

Look at Chair 4 (on the trail map).........its called...The Crystal Double. Maybe this is the old Pilchuck chairlift that went to Crystal, was NOT used and was sold to Blacktail?
I am sure that asking just the right individual would give us many answers about this shuffling of the old Pilchuck chair. Maybe someone (an old timer) from Crystal would know?

Bill Steel would know. I don't know him personally, but he's been at Crystal since around 1970. I understand that he's retiring this season.

I meet Bill in 1984 when I played music there in the Snorting Elk (bunker) on New Years Eve.Bill Steel would know. I don't know him personally, but he's been at Crystal since around 1970. I understand that he's retiring this season.
We (the band) played music and skied all day, this went on for two weeks and culminated with New Years Eve, it was fantastic! We all rented a house for 2 weeks down on the hiway. Crystal Springs?
There was a huge torchlight parade ALL the way down Exterminator on New Years Eve 1984-85. The line of torches went for a long time and was the longest line of skier torches on a mountain I have ever seen.
Bill Steel needs to be interviewed it would seem. Maybe he will post here.

Since you mentioned portable rope tows, here's one I put together a couple winters ago when the snow stuck around the lowlands for weeks.
That's awesome. Somebody needs to set up one of those in Seattle the next time it snows.
Since this is Seattle, we need somebody to donate their Prius for the day. We can jack it up and make a perfect little electric rope tow.
