Tye Mill chair at Stevens was moved from Yodelin in the summer of 1976. I do not know if it was the upper or lower Yodelin lift.
In 1999 the lift was converted to a triple. Gauge extenders were added to all towers and the return terminal to achieve needed width. A completely new drive terminal was installed. The return bullwheel, chair baskets (but not bails) and the Detroit APU on the current Tye Mill lift are all salvaged from the old Hogsback Chair at Stevens which was demolished in 1998.
In the course of the rebuild, some dimensional issues led to the conclusion that the lift had not been new when installed at Yodelin but had been moved there from elsewhere. Informed conjecture is therefore that the lift had previously been at Mt. Pilchuck.
The other Yodelin lift went to Crystal Mountain to become High Campbell.

The old Tye Mill chair lift made for some fun lift line shenanigans. For those that are unfamiliar, the loading area was elevated, requiring about four rows of side-steppers. However, there was always just enough room to ski up behind everybody if you carried enough speed and that obviously necessitated cutting in line. Of course I would never commit such a heinous breach of lift line etiquette but I witnessed plenty.

Gib,
After some quick research I noticed that Loup Loup has one fixed lift quad chairlift. So it is unlikely to be the old Chair 1 from Alpental. It was installed 1998. Even though the year is the same, I don't think the Loup got Debbie's Gold Chairlift.

What year was Chair 1 changed to the Armstrong Express? Was it 2000?
No. 1998
The primary access double chair was also named after Debbie. The name was only changed in 1998 when the double chair was replaced with a high-speed quad-chairlift.

In the late 1970s, problems renewing the ski area operating permit led to the area's closure on May 30, 1980. L. Skoog
Where is the Pilchuck chairlift?

That is unlikely as the Mount Pilchuck Ski Area officially closed on May 30, 1980. The Yodelin chairs were moved or operating in 1972. The same time the Pilchuck chair was operating.
In the course of the rebuild, some dimensional issues led to the conclusion that the lift had not been new when installed at Yodelin but had been moved there from elsewhere. Informed conjecture is therefore that the lift had previously been at Mt. Pilchuck.

A couple of other lifts that come to mind which could fit into the puzzle somewhere:
The old Bullion Basin chair at Crystal (AKA Chair 7?). its loading area was what is now referred to as "Upper 'C' Lot". Not sure when it was installed or later removed.
Then there's the Gold Hills chair, the double on the west facing base area of Crystal that still runs to service the Gold Hills cabins. That one also seems like it could be a transplant. Not sure when it was installed there either.

The Quad chair at the Loup is the old chinook chair from Crystal. The Turner chair is indeed Debbies and Bonanza, the locals spent hours volenteering time to paint and refurbish this lift, Turner has a great vibe. The triple at Gold hills is the old Bullion basin lift. I have a single chair from Ski Acres, sand blasted and painted with new wood slats, got it from a junk pile around 1990 and refurbished it. I also have a Thunderbird double, they sold them off about 10 years ago, they wanted 250.00 for them, I offered the maintanance guy 40.00 and he took it. Chair 2 at Alpental was new when installed.
