"The mystery of the Pilchuck chair continues."

I think we need a trail map of Yodelin to see which is which and what is what. I think they actually had THREE chairs as one was replaced?

Here's a photo of the Ski Acres single chair, taken by Bob and Ira Spring in about 1960.
I believe this chair was the first in the Washington Cascades when Ski Acres opened in 1948-49. Mt Spokane also had an early chairlift. I don't know if it predated the Ski Acres lift. (Photo courtesy the Spring Trust for Trails, negative #25467.)

I have a single chair from Ski Acres, sand blasted and painted with new wood slats, got it from a junk pile around 1990 and refurbished it.

Great photos! I love the kid with the FLATTOP haircut and the (little) chairs REALLY drooping the cable as we look right up the chairlift itself. I remember those long lift lines to get on the yellow chair on a Saturday in the 70's. But any wait was well worth the novelty experience. Of course, half the time on that chair was waiting what seemed like forever to get off and ski or get out of the bad weather!
What was the NAME of the Single Chair at Ski Acres?
We used to call it the "yellow chair" because it was painted bright yellow back when I rode it. (1970 onward)

Tye Mill is a Riblet
High Campbell is, if I'm not mistaken, a Hall with a Riblet drive terminal. I don't know when or why that particular modification was made. Maybe it was a vault drive at Yodelin and that was undesireable at its present location?
