I'm leaning towards Juan's post being solely an endorsement rather than a bid. He can confirm the latter later if I am mistaken.
It might help eliminate any confusion if subsequent bidders preceded their bid with "I BID" and then state the dollar amount.

So with that I have $35 from glenn_b.

Do I hear $45?

Thanks Ron for making the effort and donation to raise a few bucks for the FoNWAC. Looks like maybe the heavy lifters are taking a powder... $50

A big shout out to Ron for thinking of us! Great idea. Bid high and bid often! We need the support. Anyone else out there have gear they want to sell?

This is a great idea by Ron and maybe a painless way to raise funds for NWAC. Funding NWAC has been a challenge all the way back to the early 80s. Now that more and more people are using it - losing it would be tragic. And the funding agency take notice when private individuals are willing to give! Really important this year when the budgets are tighter and we have a good chance of seeing a snowy winter in the mountains thanks to La Nina!
