I'm hearing a lot of people complaining about the sketchy snow pack, but I don't see anyone doing anything about it...

I spent the day near Artist Point with 2 European guests. We experienced the best snow ever for mid-June: great stability, minimal suncups and bluebird skies. We were back at the parking lot (where we put our skis on and off) by 2:30. A spectacular safe and beautiful 4 hours of back country skiing.

I skied Silver Peak based on Eric's (from MMW Bellevue) advice

We skied Mt Adams on Sunday. No signs of extreme avalanche hazard. Good snow instead.
