VertFest 2010 is ON!

Many thanks for putting this on and including us splitters in the mix. Sorry I couldn't hang around afterwards but I'm informed I came away with an osprey and a BCA pack - superb! Thanks again.

Another thanks to those who put on this amazing race. I'm pretty new to BC skiing and this was my first rando race, but in my 15+ years of run + bike racing, I don't think I've ever suffered so hard.

What - no "over 50" category for the 2 lap race? It's an outrage!

Thank you to OR, Pro Ski, all the sponsors and organizers, racers, volunteers, what a great day. My first time running this, now I know what to expect for next year and with a new pair of Dynafit bindings scored in the raffle (cha-ching!) I'm better prepped for uphill travel..

What - no "over 60" category at all! (Silas Wild - 61)   Hmm, but we sure had a nice morning working the Andy's Knoll checkpoint under chair 2 just short of the top.  And even some schwag for the volunteers.  Thanks to sponsors, congrats to racers!  I have photos of several racers, can someone pm me with simple directions to download them from iphoto to Picasa, if you are interested that I might have a shot of you?  There were also a couple guys with big cameras who stopped by and shot some too.
