P-51 from Wingman Brewing in Tacoma. $10 a can ~ but then, it IS a full pint... best porter I've ever had.

Dude, it's not a can of Knob Creek! What's it say of us to espouse the virtues of anything that costs $10 a can?! A CAN?
For my tastebuds and money, and I'm not that cool with it being $2.49 a pint, I go with Hopworks IPA Pounders. Even if they are from Portlandia.

FWIW, Fremont Brewing has been canning their delicious adult beverages for about a year now. You can pick them up at local stores in the greater Seattle area (PCC, Whole Foods, Town & Country markets, Fred Meyer, and most Walgreens) for $9-10 per sixer and even cheaper @ the brewery I highly recommend their summer (formerly solstice) ale for these warm summer tours and hikes

This is great news! I actually wrote Deschutes Brewery suggesting they come out with pints at least in their Obsidian Stout, my favorite. After that, either the D. Inversion or SN Torpedo is my favorite; I will be looking for these tall boys. One beer is not enough for me, but I don't need two. There is a reason ales and stouts in taverns are served as pints

Oskar Blues cans used to be my goto for warm spring tours and summer hikes.
But Sierra Nevada has stepped up their game, offering "tallboyws" of both their popular pale ale and their Torpedo IPA
Keep an eye out for these, I've been able to find them most places in North Seattle in the past few weeks:
