4th annual Crystal Fest April 29, 2007

I'm in, and my vote is for the Campbell Basin Lodge area, might even still have some tables available for our use, and since we did a great job of leaving no trace and putting things back where we found them when we were done last year, we might even have ski racks available too  .

I'll bringing something for the "potluck" table.

I'm hoping for good weather so I can convince 10-year-old son Tom to skin up to Campbell Basin again this year. Looking forward to it!

I once carried a soda keg out to Ozette River on the Olympic seacoast....

Very nice!!  I've been known to carry lots of canned ales and stouts on beach backpack trips, including on a trip to the Ozette River last summer... but never thought to actually carry one big can of it!   


Lookin forward to my second Crystal Fest.  Hey JD, or whoever else, I'd be happy to take a turn at sled hauling ... both just to help out, but also cuz it's a skill/technique I've been kinda wanting to try. 

You know, might be good to haul more than one keg of root beer up that hill, they ran out so early last year!
