4th annual Crystal Fest April 29, 2007

It seems like it is "that" time again.
Not sure if this should be in Planned Trips or not (please move the post if need be), but here goes:

According to the skies and the calander, I think it is time to haul a keg up to the top of Crystal Mountain and BBQ a steak in the sunshine. The TAY community seems to have grown a bunch and it seems like a good time for a corn filled get together to meet new friends and re-connect with old ones.
As per last year I expect it to be fun.
If somebody fronts the keg, I will haul it, and I think everyone will chip in to $upport it.

I'm pretty sure you can count on me, and I'm letting my wife and West Sound friends know as well.  I volunteer to make the keg lighter.       I'll help ski it down too if I'm still around at the end.
I once carried a soda keg out to Ozette River on the Olympic seacoast....

gosh would it be cheating to drag some stuff up the lift this weekend before it shuts down? maybe a grill and some charcoal?

I don't know what their policy is now (I've been gone 4-5 years) but when I drove cats up there I hauled a keg and grill into the South back every spring. If you plan on doing it this weekend contact CJ at the firehouse (he's also a cat driver) and see if he can set it up for you (tell him H2O Joe sent you). If you still plan on doing it the end of the month I'm in. Plenty of snow here on Hood and Adams but Crystal is always fun and worth the drive.
