VertFest was created by KajBune
Thanks to Charles for permission to post the following:

Outdoor Research and Crystal Mountain are pleased to invite you to a celebration of
backcountry VertiCulture in the Cascades on March 3, 2007 – VertFest. We’re having an outrageous season and we thought it would be fun to get the winter human powered community together for some competition, gear demos, clinics, tours and beer. And VertFest net proceeds will be donated to the Northwest Weather and Avalanche Center. Visit the NWAC website at nwac.noaa.gov

You can check out VertFest details and register at:

www.orgear.com/home/page/home/vertfest

There will be cash and gear prizes across a broad range of divisions and plenty of
Lazy Boy beer flowing at the end of the day.

We hope to see you there.

Please pass the word along!

Be well and ski well.

Looks like fun.
Is the list of gear that will be available for demo compiled yet?

Kaj,

I bumped into Dan N. at Crystal last weekend and he said there may be age groupings in the rando rally. Is that correct? I'd love to enter the over-fifty class, now that I qualify.

Unfortunately, there's a good chance I won't be able to make the VertFest because of family plans that weekend. If our plans change, I'll be there!

Dan said he ran into you...and yes, 50+ is a division of the rando rally. Hope you can make it. And there's cash prizes involved...

Hope to see you soon in the hills.

Don't miss the fine print Lowell. "For sporting purposes, anyone who has completed the Ptarmigan Traverse as a day trip must compete with a minimum 50 pound overnight pack."
