Saw many participants out there today (I was not one of them). So who tore it up today?

Met Jayson during the awards ceremony at the the end of the day...he was tearing it up on the course! Way to make both loops! Once up k2 was enough for me Lots of great folks came out to play and the weather certainly did not disappoint (as my sunburn can confirm)

Nice to meet you Ben.  I spoke to several other TAY-ers, too, including Rick, Scott and Shawn.  Many thanks to the organizers and volunteers for putting on a great event!

Good meeting you Jason and some other I can't remember, and Scott (semi local guy, Spokane)- He kicked some butt.

For those that want more there is the Telefest this Sat at Hyak- I don't think it'll have any climbs like Crystal- at least that's what I'm hoping.

Then the 18th is Martin's Life-Link race at Alpental. Those that have skied Alpental know about their slopes/climbs.

What an awesome day and event all around. It was fun to be a part of an enthusiastic crowd of backcountry folks. The elite categories were sparse and so the cash was donated to NWAC.
I wish I had done the women's elite, as I would have been the only one! Did the open class and
walked away with $50 and a smile.
I have to say thanks to the organizers and volunteers- great job running a safe and well organized event! The weather cooperated too- as I skinned up the ridge to top of campbell the sun came out and the fog burned off- it was glorious. Oh and the demos- tons of stuff and friendly folks - only complaint- no Goode's available to try out.
